The era surrounding Raw Power seemed to be Iggy's personal Let It Be, yielding a seemingly bottomless well of unreleased recordings. Never mind that these are mostly tinnily recorded, disjointed live recordings -- this is the Igster, after all, who has a small but committed fan base that wants to devour every bit of self-destruction available from the period. This is another installment, and probably not the last, in the series, culling nine tracks from California shows in late 1973 and early 1974. In addition to perennials like "Search & Destroy," and you get less-traveled items like "Wet My Bed," "She Creatures of the Hollywood Hills," and "Heavy Liquid/New Orleans." Much of this was previously unreleased anywhere, or previously unreleased in the U.S. Yet the sound quality isn't even that good by bootleg standards, and none of it's essential to anyone but wild-eyed fans. But the liner notes, which go into about Iggy's most decadent early- to mid-'70s history, are pretty good. ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
