There are a lot of fun sides, some of them relatively rare, included in this two-disc set (at 24 tracks total, this could have easily been a single disc), like the Willows' bright and infectious "A-So," the Maytones' sturdy "As Long as You Love Me," and Lee "Scratch" Perry's oddly effective "Soul Fire," as well as several Bob Marley & the Wailers selections ("Soul Shakedown," "Sun Is Shining," "Keep on Moving") that seem to pop up everywhere, so this collection is hardly a waste of time or money, but it isn't exactly essential, either, in spite of the subtitle. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
