Waiting for the book to come in the mail and I love the show. I know that it is Celebrity Fit Club but I do think that one season it should be Celebrity Fit Club for NON celebrities. I would love to have the opportunies that all of the previous celebrities have had on Celebrity Fit Club!!!!!!!!!!!

smash the fat the easy way
So far I have done this diet for 12 days and have lost a total of 10 pounds, if you want an easy way to get started on your diet then this diet is for you...I found it to be very easy to follow and very healthy..I was a snacker and since I've been on this diet I haven't had the urge to even snack any more..this diet is great, and it teaches portion control very well...Way to go Dr. Ian...

If celebrities can get fit, so can I with your help!
I can t wait to receive Dr. Ian's weight lose program so I can lose the weight that causes pain on my Arthritic joint's. My Rheumatologist and surgeon both say that if I want my arthritic joint's and my replaced joint's to last as long as possible then I need to lose about 40 pounds. I beleive with The Fat Smash Diet and support from my family friends I can achieve that. I'll let everyone who's interested know how thing's are going once I start the program. I also plan on ordering Harvey Walden IV CFC Boot Camp Workout DVD wich will help strenghten my muscles and stretch the tight ones.

so far so good...
I have been on the diet for 8 days and I have lost 9 lbs (Phase I). It is not the easiest diet to follow as it asks you to go cold turkey on the things you are used to eating. You are allowed fruits, veggies, brown rice, egg white, and oatmeal. You will be surprised, after 3 hard days this diet becomes easier. You may even find yourself craving fruits and veggies as a meal. I would recommend this book so far, I will let you know if that changes. Because the book is very vague on the donts I have been following the dos exactly as he has them laid out without trying to add anything.

It Really Works
THANK YOU Dr. Ian!!!! The Fat Smalh Diet is not a diet, it's a way of life. I along with a few other family members have used this diet and I have had great results. Since August 2006, I have lost about 25 lbs. The other plans did not work and left me feeling helpless but this was the trick. I recommend it to those who are serious about loosing weight. THANK YOU

It works if you follow the plan
I've lost 18 lbs as of day 11. Dr Ian Smith has created a smart and easy way for the pounds to fly off. He lays out exactly what you can eat and what you can't. If you follow his plan, the pounds WILL come off. It's a battle of willpower and a question of whether you want to do it or not. He gives you to tools to succeed, it's just up to you if you want to or not. This is exactly what I needed to jumpstart my change in diet. I highly recommend this book if you are serious about doing the same. It's not easy, the first 9 days is a trial but at the end of that period I have never felt better. The recipes included are easy to prepare and are delicious as well. If you're serious about losing weight, this book is a must.

Unsure of diet
Dr. Ian's AOL account is full and not able to address any questions. The book isn't explanatory on the do's and don'ts.

Love it!

It works and it's easy
The book is easy to read, easy to follow, easy to refer back to. I lost 20 pounds and I feel awesome. It provides good principles and a realistic long term eating plan. It's a simple program and it works.

I did the 1st nine days back in the summer and lost 10lbs in 9 days. whenever, I need a jump start, I go straight for the FAT SMASH DIET book. Because, I know for myself it works!!!!!

4 days and counting
I started the detox phase 4 days ago. This morning I weighed myself and for the first time in a long time the scale moved - downward. 2 1/2 pounds in 3 almost 4 days. I'm just getting through the hard part. Yesterday I noticed my hands shaking and today as well so I ate a fruit and felt much better. I'm a carb addict so this is very hard for me but I know it can be done. If's there's one thing in this world that I can control - it's my weight. If I can't regain control of that then I can't expect to have control of other things. So far so good.

Fantastic!
This is the best and easiest diet to follow. I have lost 5 lbs. in the first 7 days and my husband has lost 10!! We are usually healthy eaters anyways but we always tended to eat a lot of sweets also so cutting them out and following a set meal plan has really helped us. The first 5 days were the worst! I feel so much better and when I go to the gym, I feel awesome. I have already reached my goal but I am continuing this as a lifestyle to be healthier. I am planning on competing in a fitness competion and will be able to use this diet to get me where I need to be.

Confused
I started this diet yesterday and I am confused. I'm coming from a diet that eliminated all High Fructose Corn Syrup from my diet and got me back on to meats, vegetables and minimal carbs. My wife wanted to try this diet and this is day two. I feel so bloated and bigger than I did with the other diet. I've actually gained weight in just two days by introducing the high carb foods back into my diet. I gave this book a 3 because I am keeping my mind open and would love to hear about this from anyone. Is this an initial reaction that will go away in the next 7 days? I ask this because others claim to have lost a nice chunk of weight in 10 days on this diet while going through the "initial" phase. I run 4 miles every day except for the weekends. I work out at least 3 times a week in my garage gym. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this how it's supposed to be in the beginning? Seriously, I need to lose the weight for my next PT test in August.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!
I have never lost so much weight in so little time. I had lost 11 pounds by the time I finished the detox. Although the first nine days were challenging, I managed to stick to the diet and I'm lovin it. Trust me, the diet gets easier every day and you won't regret it. I haven't.

Easy and Forgiving!
I am currently on Phase 3 and I am loving it! I lost 6 lbs. during the first 9 days (Phase 1). I lost 8 lbs. during the next 21 days (Phase 2). I probably could have lost a lot more weight had I worked out as much as Dr. Ian suggested -- which goes to show you how easy and forgiving this plan is! Last week, I cheated and had a piece of wedding cake (how could anyone resist?), but Dr. Ian says that if you end up gaining any weight from cheating, just go back to Phase 1 until you lose the weight, and hop back on to your current Phase! There are also plenty of delicious recipes found in the book and online that satisfy the requirements for each phase. The difference about this plan is that it changes the way you look at food rather than just being a "food-minimizing diet." It really makes you aware of what you are putting in your body every day.

Day 7 and counting
I started this diet 7 days ago and I think it is great. I have less cravings at night and I am starting to enjoy exercising. People have told me that phase I is the hardest. My concern is trying to keep enough protein in my diet so that when I exercise I won't pass out. Wednesay will be my last day of this phase and I am hoping to weigh myself and see results.

Loss 11 lbs in 9 days!!!
My wife and I started the with the detox about 3 weeks ago. I loss 11 lbs in the first 9 days and my wife loss 6 lbs! The first two days was an adjustment period, but after day 3 the craving for meats and starches started to go away. I'm enjoying phase II (eating chicken and fish). I can't believe how much my energy level has increased too!

i started this diet last week of April.. I have lost a total of 42 pounds.. i have followed the book word for word.. the only thing i do different is one hour of weight training in the morning and 2 hrs of cardio 6 days a week.. i am so happy with the results..

Day three and counting
I can not believe that not only how easy this is but that I have found something that I like to help me lose weight and start a healthy lifestyle. My only dislike, if you can say that, is I wish that Dr. Ian was more clear on what you can eat. Like I can have oatmeal, but made how? With water, milk, plain or flavored? But other than that the program is the BEST!!
